The Medium Chain Fatty Acids in Coconut Oil

Unlike long-chain fatty acids which are digested in the gut and can be stored in the body as fat, coconut oil is sent straight to the liver and used by the body as a source of fuel to stimulate metabolism.

It functions as an antioxidant protecting against destructive free radicals that are often generated by toxins.

Coconut oil is anti-viral, anti-parasitic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal. Keeps your digestive system very clean inside. Helps destroy candida and balance intestinal (probiotic) bacteria. Helps the immune system.

The MCFAs create longer lasting energy without insulin levels being adversely affected.

Fats are the cleanest burning energy for our body.

Energy sources from carbohydrate cause insulin levels to spike and crash, which is what creates the eat every 3 hours cravings that so many people THINK is hunger.

The Healthy fats in coconut oil, will not affect insulin and give us much more stable energy that will last longer in the body. Converts to usable energy very quickly. A much more balanced and less manic energy than any carbohydrate (fructose, lactose, glucose, etc)

The medium chain fatty acids promote the breeding of good bacteria in your intestine and shift the body’s metabolism into a higher gear, so to speak, so that you burn more calories. MCFAs are easily absorbed and rapidly burned and used as energy for metabolism.

Increased metabolic activity can even burn long-chain fatty acids (LCFAs are recognized as bad fat).

So not only are medium-chain fatty acids burned for energy production, but they encourage the burning of long-chain fatty acids as well.

And when metabolism increases so will the natural systematic mechanisms of detoxification, repair, and growth. The immune system is boosted to a higher level neutralizing the effects of many harmful toxins.

MCFAs accelerate cellular activity to promote healing and maximize your energy level so you could function at a normal pace.

And the topper, around 50% of these MCFAs are made up of lauric acid, the most important essential fatty acid in building and maintaining your body’s immune system. Among all the saturated fatty acids, lauric acid has the maximum antiviral activity.
